HMC ontving in 2019 opnieuw het roze lintje voor goede borstkankerzorg van de Borstkanker Vereniging Nederland (BVN). Dit betekent dat het ziekenhuis patiëntgericht borstkankerzorg biedt. De Monitor Borstkankerzorg die de BVN hanteert, meet welke borstkankerzorg ziekenhuizen leveren en hoe patiënten die ervaren. De criteria worden jaarlijks aangescherpt.
